Diversity, we think, the distinctive characteristic that mark Chicago as a top contender. In the city area alone, there are over six thousands of restaurants serving the food from all over the world, along with a great number of bars, pubs, theaters, and museums.
Chicago also has various kinds of sports events, including the games of baseball, basketball, American football, and hockey. Chicago is also the host of the world-famous annual Chicago Marathon.
However, Chicago also has to work a little harder to make itself a better candidate to actually host the 2016 Olympics. There are some unclean areas such as CTA trains and stations. These are the front gates where the people coming from all over the world will first encounter the city. It is therefore a must for the city to work on it.
