"The Four Candidate Cities for the 2016 Olympics"

The first top four candidates cities for 2016 Olympics are Tokyo scored 8.3, Madrid 8.1, Chicago 7.0 and Rio de Janeiro 6.4. Browsing thru the four candidate city websites, I found out the Tokyo is one of the world's leading cities, as far as culture, commerce and resources. Tokyo also has an excellent public transpotation in which they built the three ring road transportation to reduce the congestion problem. in addition to this, Tokyo has over 124,000 hotel rooms nearby, that is considered highlighted strenght of Tokyo compared to other bid cities. Olympic experience should also allow to permeate the City without compromising Olympic Operation. Funding will be from private and government sector, estimated expenses is approximately US $ 50 million and estimated revenue is approximately $ 1.557 billion.

The second is Madrid, joined the 2012 bid was ranked first in seven categories which are Government Support, legal issues and public opinion, general infrastrusture, Environment, sports Venues, Olympic village, Trnsposrt concept and Overall project and legacy. It also showing support from politicians and residents. Madrid 2016 has over 60 corporate sponsors>

Ranked as third and fourth are Chicago and Rio de Janeiro, Chicagos games and funding will be from private sector and federal dollars for security and infrastrusture, venues reported to lack of Olympic structure though it is said that Chicago has dozens of existing sport venues. Rio de Janeiro bidded for 1936, 1940, 2004 and 2012 but faile don every occassion. Rio de janeiro meets the International Federation's technical requirements and both IOc and Ipc standards and align with the city master Plan and Legacy Strategy.

All four obviuosly meet the standard requirements of the 2016 Olympic Games. But in my opinion, I will agree with the committee involved in ranking or will judge who will win the bid because the committee knows the mechanical and technical aspects of the Olympic Games, I believe that they will pick the right city that will not hurt the City's people and financail budget.
