Reflection from week 1--7 by Kats

I liked the atmosphere of the entire class during this summer semester. It was different from the ordinary seasons in the following ways.
First, I could enjoy our class in a more relaxed way than usual. After experiencing series of assignments in regular seasons, I needed a little more space to learn. Secondly, I could learn more about the city, including how the local people are engaged in the Olympics. We are a little too busy learning textbooks to learn local activities in regular classes. For example, we discussed what to do in order to win the candidacy. As you know, Tokyo is another candidate, and as a Japanese man, honestly speaking, I first had a mixed feeling about producing good idea to let our rival city win. Going back to the original theme of the Olympics, however, I have realized that we human beings are all united. I therefore decided to engage positively in our class activity. There is one suggestion, though. We had only one field trip during the session. If we could add an outside activity or two, it would be more interesting. In the first place, it is not very healthy staying inside an air-conditioned room for hours.
All in all, I had a great time in this summer course. I owe this great feeling largely to our teacher, Ms. Lori Hill. Thank you very much for your great work.
